Lakeside Manufacturing, Milwaukee, WI, seeks a skilled 1st Shift TIG Welder to join our stainless steel cart manufacturing team. You will weld, read blueprints, and assemble carts and tables to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-3 years related experience.
• Ability to operate pneumatic and power tools, welding equipment, polishers, buffers, and lift equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding of carts, subassemblies and tables to produce product according to procedures and meeting specifications.
• Read parts lists, blueprints and drawings to weld and assemble products.
• Perform all grinding, buffing and polishing operations to bring products into specifications.
• Perform final assembly of products and sub-assemblies according to procedures and meeting specifications.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, printing labels.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
• Assist with assembly operations in other areas as needed.
