PlayCore Holdings, Inc. in San Marcos, TX is looking for a TIG Welder/Fabricator to take components from fabrication through assembly and ensure the finished product meets quality standards.

You will perform TIG welding on fabricated components, measure and fit parts, drill, grind, braze, and polish materials, and operate plasma cutters and other fabrication equipment. You will inspect work, assist with testing, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • TIG welding experience required.
  • MIG welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds and accurate measurements.
  • Experience using common fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you'll take components from fabrication through assembly and help ensure the finished product meets our quality standards.

You'll:

  • Perform TIG welding on fabricated components and assemblies
  • Perform MIG welding as needed
  • Measure, fit, and prepare components for accurate fabrication and welding
  • Drill, tap, bend, grind, sand, cut, braze, and polish materials
  • Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, drills, and other fabrication equipment
  • Complete sub-assemblies and final product assembly
  • Inspect your work for quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Assist with testing completed products
  • Maintain tools and equipment and report needed repairs or unsafe conditions
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow established safety procedures and OSHA requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency
  • Support other production areas when needed
