A local manufacturing company in Murrieta is seeking TIG Welders.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm; Fridays 5am-1:30pm; weekends if needed on Saturdays 5am to 1:30pm. The company offers a great training program!

We are looking for a skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facility. You will operate appropriate equipment to assemble mechanical structures or parts with precision. Your role is crucial as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure. A welder must follow all safety precautions when using potentially dangerous equipment. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Read blueprints and drawings; take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
2. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
3. Set up components for welding according to specifications
4. Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding
5. Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces
6. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
7. Able to ensure welds meet ASME specifications
8. Maintain equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning

Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience as a welder
2. Experience using various welding techniques (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW)
3. Experience with electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)
4. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
5. Knowledge of safety standards; willingness to use protective gear (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
