Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking an experienced TIG welder for precision welding on thin-gauge metals and specialty materials. You will read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications while setting up equipment and adjusting parameters for varied materials.

Responsibilities include inspecting welds, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining strict quality standards. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams and assist with fabrication as needed.

Formación

• 4+ years of TIG/GTAW welding experience.
• Experience welding 0.040"–0.060" thick thin materials.
• Strong torch control, heat management and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols and engineering drawings.

**Summary: **Seeking an experienced TIG Welder skilled in precision welding, thin-gauge materials, and blueprint reading.**Job Details: **Perform precision TIG welding on thin-gauge metals and specialty materials.Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.Set up equipment and adjust welding parameters for different materials and applications.Inspect welds, troubleshoot defects, and maintain strict quality standards.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges.Assist with fabrication, fit-up, and other welding processes as needed.**Requirements: **Minimum 4 years of TIG/GTAW welding experience.Experience welding thin materials, ideally 0.040\"–0.060\" thick.Strong torch control, heat management, and attention to detail.Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.Experience maintaining tight tolerances and identifying welding defects.Ability to work independently in a varied, detail-oriented manufacturing environment.Aerospace, defense, marine, or other precision manufacturing experience preferred.Experience with specialty alloys and MIG welding is a plus.**Schedule: **Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 AM–2:30 PMPay: $30–$35/hour, depending on experienceOvertime: Occasional Saturday mornings (limited), paid at 1.5xEmployment Type: Direct hire**Benefits: **Variety of challenging projects rather than repetitive production work.Opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams.Potential for advancement into lead welding, technical support, or broader engineering-related responsibilities.Opportunity to help train second-shift employees as the team expands.
