Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA LLC seeks an experienced TIG / Combo Pipe Welder for its Brookshire, TX operation. The role focuses on TIG root welds, open-root pipe welds, and adherence to welding procedures within a fabrication environment to meet production standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pipe welding experience, strong TIG root capabilities, and experience with stainless steel GTAW/TIG welding. Willingness to test welds and work overtime is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial pipe welding experience.
• Proven TIG/GTAW pipe welding experience.
• Strong TIG root welding capability with consistent quality and production pace.
• Experience completing open-root pipe welds from root through cap.
• Stainless steel GTAW/TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Willingness to complete a practical weld test.
• Ability to work overtime, including approximately 60 hours per week when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG root welding on pipe to production and quality standards.
• Complete open-root pipe welds, including root, hot, fill, and cap passes.
• Read, interpret, and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Produce welds with proper penetration, fusion, and consistent root quality.
• Verify fit-up conditions and identify unacceptable gaps or high-low conditions.
• Perform pipe fabrication welding in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain weld identification and documentation as required.
• Support quality, safety, and production objectives.
