Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced TIG Pipe Welders for projects located in the Allentown, PA area. This first shift opportunity offers pay up to $40/hour based on experience plus per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.

Qualifications

• Experience in GTAW/TIG welding on piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel).
• Ability to weld pipe joints in 1G, 2G, 5G, and 6G positions as qualified.
• Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and ASME codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW/TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and other piping materials.
• Weld pipe joints in various diameters, wall thicknesses, and welding positions (1G, 2G, 5G, 6G).
• Follow approved WPS and maintain welding qualifications.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions during welding operations.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced TIG Pipe Welders for projects located in the Allentown, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience plus per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope

• Perform GTAW/TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and other specified piping materials
• Weld pipe joints in various diameters, wall thicknesses, and welding positions, including 1G, 2G, 5G, and 6G as qualified
• Perform root passes, hot passes, fill passes, and cap passes as required by approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Ensure proper pipe alignment, fit-up, root gap, bevel preparation, and joint cleanliness before welding
• Maintain proper control of welding parameters, including amperage, voltage, travel speed, and shielding gas flow
• Use appropriate filler metals and consumables according to project requirements
• Perform welding in accordance with ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, or other applicable codes
• Follow approved WPS and maintain required welding qualifications
• Perform visual inspection of completed welds and correct defects as directed
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions throughout welding operations
