Job summary

Leggett & Platt Moiron Division in Sparta, MI is seeking a TIG/MIG Welder to support our Work Furniture production. You’ll weld metal parts using TIG and MIG equipment as defined by layouts, diagrams, or work orders, contributing to efficient fabrication of high-quality components.

Ideal candidates have prior TIG/MIG experience or training, are comfortable with a fast-paced metal fabrication environment, and may progress to operating robotic welders and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Past experience or education with TIG/MIG welding.
• TIG/MIG Test will be given to final applicants.
• Passion for the art of welding.

• Welds metal parts primarily with TIG/MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order.
• Production welding requires repetitive welding of the same part.
• You may operate other processes such as lasers, benders, robotic welders, drill presses, punch presses, sanding as needed.

We, at Leggett & Platt Moiron Division are searching for a TIG/MIG Wedler at our Sparta, MI branch to help support our Work Furniture business.

What you’ll be doing:

Welds metal parts primarily with TIG/MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Production welding requires repetitive welding of the same part. We do innovative things with metal tube and wire using cool machines like lasers, benders, robotic welders, drill presses, punch presses, sanding, and welding! You may get the opportunity to operate one or many of our other processes. Apply today for your next employment opportunity.
