Job summary

Mercy Health - Tiffin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our established cardiology practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to inherit an existing patient panel and grow the practice while delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

We offer an employed position within Mercy Health, a collaborative team including one cardiologist and two experienced NPs, with a schedule that blends outpatient and inpatient responsibilities (approximately 75%

  • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures.
  • Interpret diagnostic cardiovascular testing.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, hospitalists, APPs and specialists.
  • Participate in inpatient consultations and hospital rounding as needed.

Mercy Health - Tiffin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into an existing patient panel while continuing to grow the practice by welcoming new patients. Opportunity Highlights:
  • Established cardiology practice with an immediate patient panel
  • Opportunity to continue growing the practice by accepting new patients
  • Employed position with Mercy Health, one of the region's leading healthcare systems
  • Collaborative practice with:
    • One Cardiologist
    • Two experienced Nurse Practitioners
    • Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff
  • Blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities based on experience:
    • Approximately 75% outpatient
    • Approximately 25% inpatient
Practice Details:
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Office hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Shared after-hours call: 15 days per month
  • Average outpatient volume: 16-20 patients per day
  • Manage your own patient panel while collaborating closely with the cardiology team
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular disease
  • Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures
  • Interpret diagnostic cardiovascular testing
  • Perform and oversee:
    • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
    • Holter monitor interpretation
    • Pacemaker evaluations and device checks
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for both acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and specialists
  • Participate in inpatient consultations and hospital rounding as needed
  • Participate in the shared call schedule to ensure continuity of patient care
Candidate Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license
  • Strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and patient-centered care
  • New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
