Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Security Operations Analyst, Mid, to respond to and resolve cybersecurity incidents and to proactively prevent their recurrence. The role involves applying cutting-edge principles, theories, and concepts and mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate has experience with intelligence-driven defense, MITRE ATT&CK, and SOC operations, plus a Top Secret clearance. Mobile and on-site collaboration may be required as projects span government and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting information technology or intelligence operations, or 11+ years of experience supporting information technology or intelligence operations in lieu of a degree
• Top Secret clearance
• Experience with intelligence-driven defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, or MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Knowledge of industry-accepted standards for incident response actions and best practices for SOC operations
• Knowledge of security operation tools, including SIMs or DCAP analysis
• Knowledge of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures
