Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a motivated Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security operations team. In this role, you’ll investigate escalated security alerts, leverage AI-driven analytics, and coordinate with Threat Intelligence and vendors to respond to incidents.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong SIEM/SOAR and log analysis skills, and excellent communication. You will help maintain incident response playbooks and uphold service levels in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, log analysis, and cyber threat investigations.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and their application in cybersecurity operations; hands-on experience with AI-driven tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts from SIEM and other sources.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to accelerate threat detection, enrich investigations, and improve decision-making during incident response.
• Coordinate with Threat Intelligence, vendors, and stakeholders to assess and respond to incidents.
• Advise clients on technical countermeasures and provide updates during active incidents.
• Maintain and improve incident response playbooks and processes.
• Uphold escalation procedures and service levels.
