Job summary

Agile Defense in Washington, DC is seeking a Tier 1 SOC Analyst to provide frontline monitoring and triage across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. You will review SIEM alerts, perform initial investigation, reduce false positives, and escalate incidents per playbooks, while documenting findings for the incident response process.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related disciplines required.
• 2 years of experience in SOC or cybersecurity environment preferred.
• Experience reviewing and triaging SIEM alerts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security events across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Review SIEM alerts, perform initial investigation, and reduce false positives.
• Escalate confirmed incidents according to established playbooks.
• Document findings to support the incident response process.
