Critical Solutions is seeking a Tier 1 Cyber Network Defense Analyst in Washington, DC, with a TS/SCI clearance and a hybrid work arrangement. You’ll join a SOC team delivering 24x7x365 security support, monitoring network activity, investigating alerts, and coordinating response efforts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain an EOD clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in network administration, Unix/Linux administration, software engineering/development, systems administration, or help desk/IT support.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a SIEM for enterprise monitoring and detection.
• Create Security Event Notifications to document investigation findings.
• Analyze network traffic using enterprise tools (PCAP, Firewall, Proxy logs, IDS logs).
• Collaborate with team members to analyze an alert or a threat.
• Stay up to date with latest threats.
• Monitor shared email box for notifications and requests.
• Utilize OSINT to aid in investigations.
• Contribute to content tuning requests.
