Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products is seeking a Tie Layer Operator to perform manufacturing, coating, and processing of tubing on our production line. You will set up and monitor machines, apply tie layer coating, and place tubing into equipment.

The role requires following instructions, reading job orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will inspect products visually and dimensionally and document process information on worksheets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to situations.
• Ability to read job instruction and work independently.
• Repetitive overhead lifting of lightweight tubing.
• Lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Perform simple visual inspections for defects and color differentiation.
• Stand, stoop or sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor machines & equipment.
• Apply tie layer coating to tubing.
• Place tubing in equipment.
• Check tubing visually and dimensionally.
• Document process information on prescribed worksheets.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
