WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Financial / Cash Handling

  1. Ensure compliance of Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and procedures
  2. Balancing and reconciling daily/nightly ticket sales
  3. Assist Manager/Supervisor in reconciliation of cash drawers and ticket stock
  4. Assist Manager/Supervisor on pricing initiatives such as: Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing as well as Value Channels & Special Ticket Offers when applicable
  5. Assist Manager/Supervisor in distributing accurate daily ticket counts to Artist Representatives
  6. Assisting Manager & Supervisor with internal Ticket Orders and Reports
  7. Work with Premium Seat Sales/VIP on any nightly upgrades, primary inventory, reports etc.

Customer Service

  1. Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable customer service both in person and over the phone
  2. Facilitate night of show Will Call & Guest List Operations
  3. Troubleshooting night of show issues (Transfers, barcodes, account issues, etc.)
  4. Work with Guest Services/Operations on any ADA requirements
  5. Providing knowledge of upcoming events & upgrades available
  6. Knowledgeable on the events culture and genre
  7. Providing positive energy

Other Responsibilities

  1. Daily operations on Ticketmaster host system for sales and other tasks.
  2. Following opening and closing shift procedures
  3. Follow standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events and qualifiers
  4. Maintain call center phone system, and keep current all phone menus and calendars of events
  5. Assist in maintaining Box Office cleanliness
  6. Follow dress code policy – business casual
  7. Updating and modifying spreadsheets as needed (Ticket Stock Log, Vault Log, etc.)
  8. Collecting, storing and tracking Lost & Found as necessary
  9. Assist Manager & Supervisor in any tasks as they arise
  10. Position may require 3rd Party venue coverage offsite which will include night of show management, staffing and providing equipment needs.
  11. Ensure compliance with ADA ticket laws

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  1. Knowledge of Cash Handling
  2. Knowledge of Phone & In Person Customer Service
  3. Entry level knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  4. Flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends and holidays)
  5. Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
  6. High School Diploma

Preferred:

  1. Attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment
  2. Knowledge of ticket sales
  3. Experience in working in live entertainment operations
  4. Ticketmaster host system experience
  5. Experience in identifying counterfeit cash / ID’s

The expected compensation for this position is:

$17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly
