As our Ticket Operations Manager - Rose Quarter, you will be part of the Ticket Operations Team that leads our box office operations focused on concerts, events, family shows, and non-tenant sporting events at the Rose Quarter!

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Manage a dynamic range of events, including concerts, family shows, and sporting events at the Rose Quarter.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth event operations, from CAD/event setup to setting rebates, service charges, and credit card fees for all points of sale. Work directly with promoters on setup, reporting, and management of holds. Reconcile financial statements following each event.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and evaluation of part-time staff, maintaining performance standards and addressing deficiencies.
  • Serve as liaison between Ticket Office and ticketing system support, including coordinating on sales, promotional discounts, and financial account issues.
  • Provide customer service and information to the public in person, by phone, or by email. Respond in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing event ticket operations, preferably with Ticketmaster utilizing Host, Archtics, and TM1.
  • Have a knack for knowing and anticipating internal and external customers' needs and responding accordingly, giving high priority to service and customer satisfaction.
  • Thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and are able to solve complex problems.
  • Can cultivate strong interpersonal relationships: Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
  • Demonstrate strong communication: Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Has proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Can balance independent work with teamwork and has flexibility for working nights, weekends, and holidays.
