Job summary

Beaver Creek Ski Resort in Colorado is seeking a Ticket Checker to join the Lift Experience Team for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will greet guests by name, validate access, and help ensure smooth loading of lifts in all weather conditions.

This entry-level position offers $20.00/hour with both full-time and part-time hours, weekends and holidays as needed, and opportunities to grow through training and cross-department experience. Eligible for employee discounts and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for the entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium guest service by providing information and assistance with a smile.
• Validate tickets to ensure guests have their own valid product before loading lifts.
• Work cooperatively with Lift Operators and other teams to ensure lift lines are safely managed and lifts are loaded efficiently.
• Maintain and secure departmental equipment – scan devices, radios, etc.
• Escalate issues to leadership as they arise, from safety to products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a TicketChecker, you will play an essential role in creating an experience of a lifetime for our guests on the Lift Experience Team. The mission is to provide employees and guests with a seamless end-to-end experience from maze entrance to lift unloading. You will primarily work in the lift mazes greeting guests by name and validating their access each time.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

• Working between 8-10 hours/day
