Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to support TIBCO EMS, BW, BWCE, and related platforms in AWS environments. Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for TIBCO EMS, BW, BWCE, and related platforms.
• Administer BWCE apps in AWS environments.
• Perform upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and SSL management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot production incidents, alerts, and outages within SLA.
• Handle incident, problem, change, and service requests via ServiceNow.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Provide L1/L2 production support for TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW), BWCE, Administrator, Hawk, and Rendezvous platforms
• Administer and support BWCE applications running in AWS-hosted environments.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and SSL certificate management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, alerts, and service outages within SLA timelines.
• Perform incident, problem, change, and service request management activities using ServiceNow.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Support deployments, releases, configuration changes, and post-implementation validations
• Monitor cloud-hosted integrations and perform performance tuning, log analysis, and capacity planning.
• Support resiliency testing, disaster recovery activities, and migration initiatives from TIBCO platforms.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Hands-on experience with TIBCO EMS, BW 5.x/6.x, BWCE, Linux/Unix, AWS, ServiceNow, and Jira.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration, messaging architectures, and middleware support processes.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Preferred certifications: TIBCO BusinessWorks Certification, TIBCO EMS Administration, ITIL Foundation, AWS Cloud Practitioner/Associate.
• Willingness to provide on-call support for critical P1/P2 incidents during off-hours and weekends.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
