Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to support, design, and implement middleware and cloud-enabled applications. You will collaborate with teams across engineering, operations, and security to ensure stable, scalable software delivery.

The role involves on-going production support, incident response, and deployment activities, with a focus on Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, Spring Boot, and AWS-based environments. A strong coding and debugging mindset is required.

Formación

• Provide L1/L2 production support for Apache Web Server, JBoss EAP, Apache Tomcat, and Spring Boot applications.
• Monitor application and middleware environments to ensure high availability and operational stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, alerts, and performance issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Execute change requests, application deployments, middleware configuration updates, and release activities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support JBoss, Spring Boot, and middleware platforms hosted in AWS environments.
• Manage cloud and on-premises middleware infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Perform platform upgrades, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and SSL certificate renewals.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Provide L1/L2 production support for Apache Web Server, JBoss EAP, Apache Tomcat, and Spring Boot applications.
• Monitor application and middleware environments to ensure high availability and operational stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, alerts, and performance issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Execute change requests, application deployments, middleware configuration updates, and release activities.

• Support JBoss, Spring Boot, and middleware platforms hosted in AWS environments.
• Manage cloud and on-premises middleware infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.

Support disaster recovery, resiliency initiatives, and cloud transformation programs.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Hands-on experience with Apache, JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Linux/Unix, AWS, ServiceNow, and Jira.
• Strong understanding of middleware architecture, application support, release management, and production operations.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Preferred certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, Red Hat JBoss Administration, Spring Professional, ITIL Foundation, AWS Associate Certifications.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotational support for critical production incidents and business continuity requirements.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
