Job summary

Ardmore Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Community Living Services/Residential, Thursday–Sunday, 11:00pm–9:00am in Maryland. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them reach personal goals and participate in community activities.

Responsibilities include person-centered planning, daily living skills coaching, and assisting with household tasks. Required: high school diploma or GED, and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided
• Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or with other types of special needs populations

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals with a person-centered focus.
• Teach independent living and daily skills to residents.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and community outings.
• Instruct and assist with household tasks such as cleaning and meal prep.
