Job summary

Qualifications

Iowa Coaching Endorsement required; teaching license preferred.

Responsibilities

Teaches fundamentals and skills for the sport involved.
Assists in planning a regular practice program in season.
Oversees safety conditions of facilities where sport is conducted.
Maintains season statistics, records, and results as directed by head coach.
Enforces discipline and sportsmanship and sets consequences for breaches.
Maintains knowledge of rules, procedures, and injury prevention.
Promotes a positive image of the program and communicates with parents and public.
