Job summary

Six Flags New England is hiring for ride attendants and ride operators to join our fast-paced rides team in Massachusetts. You’ll help launch coasters, load riders, and ensure safety on every ride while delivering an exciting, memorable experience for guests.

Roles require alertness, clear English communication, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to pass ride certifications. Starting pay is per hour and positions are onsite at the park.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to pass ride certification tests.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, speaking, understanding).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience.
• Entertain guests and calm nerves as they board rides.
• Control buttons and switches to launch attractions on course.
• Ensure overall safe operation of your assigned ride or attraction.
• Check seat belts, secure loose items, and lock lap bars for guest safety.
• Enforce rider restrictions and height requirements.
• Assist guests in and out of ride vehicles and manage queue with urgency.
• Keep ride patios, queue lines, and midways clean and presentable.
• Act as a first responder to ride emergencies to keep guests calm.
• Enforce all Six Flags New England policies.
• Assist in other areas of the Rides Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
