Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Capable of basic arithmetic and money handling.
• Comfortable working in a team in a thrift-store environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, total customer purchases, receive payment and give change.
• Keep accurate financial records and report discrepancies to store manager.
• Receive and sort donated merchandise for sale.
• Display and price items within pricing guidelines.
• Maintain neat, organized merchandise displays and store area.
• Assist customers and answer questions.
• Ensure cleanliness and safe conditions in the store area.
• Sort incoming donations for processing and prep for sale.
• Wash and prepare donations for sale floor.
• Flexibly perform other duties as assigned.
