Job summary

The Salvation Army in Dodge City, KS is seeking a Temporary Part Time associate for our thrift store. You will ring up purchases, price merchandise, stock racks, and help set up displays to promote sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process merchandise efficiently following Store Manager standards.
• Price unmarked items of merchandise.
• Hang clothing as instructed.
• Stock racks, shelves, counters or tables with merchandise.
• Ring up purchases for customers and operate cash register.
• Wraps or bag merchandise for customers.
• Help set up displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt, courteous assistance.
• Support the Salvation Army mission.
• Other duties as assigned by thrift store manager.
