Remix Market is seeking a customer-facing team member to manage cashiering, restocking, cleaning, and store maintenance. You will help with social media, price tagging, and delivering excellent service to shoppers in a fast-paced thrift environment.

Ideal candidates bring sales experience, strong communication, and a willingness to work weekends. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a passion for eco-friendly retail and resale.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must in a customer-facing role.
• Relevant sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn and use technology in daily operations.
• Attention to detail is essential for pricing and stock accuracy.
• Strong safety attitude and awareness in a busy retail setting.
• Ability to influence and lead team(s) when needed.
• Ability to work weekends and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Spanish speaking is desirable but not required.
• Thrift store or retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cashiering

• Cleaning -dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, stocking restrooms and more
• Assisting with social media accounts

• Serve as the point person in store -provide excellent customer service
• Move furniture- assist with lifting into customers cars, re-arranging and stocking sales floor
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of antique/modern furniture, collectibles, books, vintage/designer clothing, and the second hand internet industry, desired but not required
• High standard of performance and sense of urgency to get things done
• Spanish speaking, desired but not required
• High school Diploma or GED, desired but not required
• Warehouse environment with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
• Spends much of the shift standing, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying and/or pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds with assistance
• Thrift store and/or retail experience, desired but not required
