Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Clinton Township, MI is hiring a part-time Retail Store Processor to turn donated goods into sale-ready merchandise. You will sort, tag, price, and stock items, while supporting production goals and keeping the store organized.

You’ll receive paid training, coaching, and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills as part of a mission-driven team. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required to meet store needs and serve the community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
