Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Dubuque, IA seeks a motivated Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

The role offers paid training and ongoing coaching, with a part-time schedule of 20–28 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work with a small team to ensure efficient merchandising and store stock flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
