Uptown Cheapskate Pembroke in Virginia Beach is hiring part-time and full-time Buyers. You’ll help customers, sort and price incoming items, and keep racks organized. Use the POS to ring up sales and learn to sell to us, with social media participation and merchandising duties. Strong reliability and weekend availability are valued.

Qualifications

• Dependable, friendly people who can work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
• Willingness to cross-train across store operations and assist with merchandising.
• Comfortable using the register and basic pricing tools.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers—our store vibe is everything.
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories from the community.
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items.
• Organize racks, tag and hang clothing.
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us.
• Help make posts on our social media pages.
• Merchandise and make the store look appealing.
