Job Summary

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, with medical benefits available after 90 days of employment. Below are brief descriptions of our positions.

Available Positions

• Facilities Associate: Unloading/loading trailers, operating a trash compactor, baling machine, and janitorial duties. This is a labor-intensive role.
• Production Associate: Pre-sorting donations, sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise to the floor.
• Sales Floor Associate: Cashier, Sales Floor, and Donation Center Attendant.
• Other roles include: Box Truck Driver, Dispatcher, and Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, back-of-house, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform job functions, including lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally and exerting force up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity, fine motor skills, balance, agility, and visual acuity.
• Ability to work effectively in noisy, bright, and fast-paced environments.

Language Requirements

Basic understanding of written and spoken English is necessary for effective communication, especially during interactions with customers, donors, and colleagues.
