Job description

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, and medical benefits become available after 90 days of employment. Brief descriptions of our positions are provided below.

Our Facilities Associates may be assigned to the following tasks:

• Unloading and loading trailers
• Operating a trash compactor
• Operating a baling machine
• Janitorial duties

The Facilities Associate position is labor-intensive.

Our Production Associates may be assigned to the following tasks:

• Pre-sorting donations
• Sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors
• Distributing merchandise to the floor

Our Sales Floor Associates may be assigned to the following roles:

• Cashier
• Sales Floor Attendant
• Donation Center Attendant

Other available positions include:

• Box Truck Driver
• Dispatcher
• Supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, back-of-house, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform job functions, including meeting productivity requirements
• Physical strength to lift and carry up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
