Founded in 1968, M&M Thrift Management Company operates 27 stores across ten states in the U.S., leading in the retail thrift industry.
Job Summary
Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform essential tasks for our retail operations. These roles require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Positions are full-time, with medical benefits available after 90 days. Below are brief descriptions of our available positions.
Available Positions:
- Facilities Associates: Unloading/loading trailers, operating trash compactors and baling machines, janitorial duties. This role is labor-intensive.
- Production Associates: Pre-sorting donations, sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise.
- Sales Floor Associates: Cashier, Sales Floor, and Donation Center Attendant roles.
- Other positions include: Box Truck Driver, Dispatcher, and Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, back of house, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely perform job functions, including meeting productivity standards
- Physical strength to occasionally lift 40-70 lbs, frequently exert 25 lbs.
- Endurance to stand for long periods
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for handling objects and performing repetitive tasks
- Balance and agility for maintaining stability and performing agile tasks
- Visual acuity for clear vision at close and far distances
- Ability to thrive in a noisy, brightly lit, and busy environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to switch tasks or departments as needed
Language Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English is necessary for effective communication and understanding instructions.
