Job description

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, with medical benefits available after 90 days of employment. Brief descriptions of our positions are provided below.

Facilities Associates

Tasks include unloading and loading trailers, operating a trash compactor, operating a baling machine, and janitorial duties. This position is labor-intensive.

Production Associates

Responsibilities include pre-sorting donations, sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise to the floor.

Sales Floor Associates

Roles include cashier, sales floor, and donation center attendant.

Other Positions

Additional roles include Box Truck Driver, Dispatcher, and Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, back of house, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform job functions, including meeting productivity standards
• Physical strength to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and exert force regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for handling objects and performing repetitive motions
• Balance and agility to perform tasks safely
• Visual acuity for detailed work
