Blue Ridge Care in Leesburg, VA seeks a Thrift Shop Associate to manage daily thrift shop operations, assist volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred/willingness to learn required.
• Retail experience and customer service, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prices, stocks, and merchandises display items for sale.
• Opens and closes the thrift shop per schedule.
• Works with volunteers to assist shop operations.
• Maintains receipts for all sales and donations.
• Ensures daily deposits are accurate and timely.
• Greets customers politely and thanks them at checkout.
• Helps onboarding new volunteers and safety training.
• Keeps shop, offices, and restrooms clean and safe.
• Rotates shifts to keep the shop clean.
• Communicates with CEO, CFO, Directors, and staff.
• Reviews shop needs with supervisor and orders inventory.
• Seeks growth and uses feedback for improvement.
• Performs duties independently and reliably.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Upholds Blue Ridge Care mission and values.
• Provides excellent customer service.
