Systems Planning & Analysis is looking for a Threat Systems Support Analyst to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will support the Joint Staff J-8 Warfare Analysis Division by updating platform and weapon system modeling data.
This role requires extensive experience with DoD stakeholders, ensuring accurate data management and analysis for adversary capabilities. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and Active Top Secret clearance are mandatory for this position.

We have an upcoming need for a Threat Systems Support Analyst to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
The candidate will support Joint Staff J‑8 Warfare Analysis Division (WAD) Modeling team to update platform and weapon system modeling data for the Synthetic Operations Research Model (STORM) and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM). Responsibilities include reviewing, researching, characterizing and monitoring at least 100 blue and red platforms and systems performance daily; developing, refreshing, and integrating improved modeling data into existing models, working in partnership with a dedicated WAD modeling team; acquiring, interpreting, synthesizing, and leveraging intelligence resources to inform performance modeling of adversary capabilities. Perform ad‑hoc efforts related to J‑8 WAD’s modeling and simulation effort, and develop and update products to inform J‑8 WAD’s net assessments focusing on threat systems and potential adversary reactions.

VA Pay Transparency Salary range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year.
