Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Threat Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the technical and operational authority on threat systems and their representations for test and training communities. The SME will translate ambiguous customer requirements into clearly defined technical solutions and guide them from concept through coordination, development, integration, and final delivery.

A TS/SCI-enabled background is preferred, with the ability to work across intelligence and engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of extensive professional experience with threat systems or related technical disciplines.
• Significant background supporting or working within the Intelligence Community.
• Strong technical understanding of RF systems and their application to threat systems and threat representation.
• Ability to interpret intelligence and technical information and translate it into practical, executable threat representation requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s Subject Matter Expert for threat systems, threat representation, and related test/train applications.
• Apply IC experience to ensure threat representations are credible, relevant, and aligned with customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise on RF systems, emitters, threat characteristics and effects.
• Translate intelligence-derived threat information into actionable threat representations for test, evaluation, and training.
• Serve as primary liaison between customers and threat representation providers.
• Engage customers to clarify objectives when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
• Coordinate threat support from planning through delivery of the final product.
• Develop and deliver reports, assessments, and executive briefings.
