Job summary

Barracuda is looking for a highly technical security professional to join our team with a primary focus on identifying emerging threats, understanding adversarial tradecraft, and translating that knowledge into actionable detection and defensive capabilities. The role sits at the intersection of threat intelligence, detection engineering, offensive security, and adversary emulation.

You will research vulnerabilities, exploits, intrusions, and attacker behaviors to improve Barracuda’s detection

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive security, threat research, or related fields.
• Experience translating adversary behaviors into detections.
• Experience with adversary emulation and attack simulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker tradecraft.
• Develop detections and validate coverage against real-world behaviors.
• Conduct adversary simulations to test defenses.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, and Product teams.
