Job summary

CBTS is seeking a senior leader to head its threat intelligence function in Irving, TX. You will oversee analysts, set intelligence priorities, manage tooling and vendors, and deliver reports to Security Operations, Incident Response, and executive teams.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in threat intelligence or security operations with leadership experience, and strong expertise in MITRE ATT&CK, intelligence lifecycle, and structured analytic techniques.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of threat intelligence, security operations, or incident response experience including leadership/mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, intelligence lifecycle, and structured analytic techniques.
• Proven experience delivering intelligence to executive and board-level audiences.
• Experience managing TIPs, threat feeds, and intelligence vendors.
• Strong collaboration with Detection Engineering, IR, and Vulnerability Management.
• Demonstrated people-management skills, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills and strong analytical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s threat intelligence function, managing analysts, intelligence priorities, tooling, vendors, and reporting.
• Deliver actionable intelligence to Security Operations, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Detection Engineering, and executive leadership.
