Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a senior leader to own threat intelligence, hunting, and detection engineering for our SOC. You will build the program, run the lifecycle from collection through feedback, and ship intelligence that guides detections across 12,000+ customers.

You'll manage a remote team of analysts and detection engineers, coordinating with SOC, IR, and security engineering. Expect to shape methodology, tooling, and AI-assisted workflows while communicating with executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity across threat intelligence and related fields.
• 3+ years leading technical security teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a remote team of analysts, hunters, and detection engineers with clear priorities and career paths.
• Define intelligence requirements with SOC leadership and customers and manage the full lifecycle from collection to feedback.
• Turn intelligence into detections and guidance that protect customers and their environments.
• Brief customer executives and partner with SOC, product, and company leaders on threats and outcomes.
• Own detection content strategy across SIEM/EDR-XDR and drive automation for scale.
