Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking an experienced security leader to own threat intelligence, threat hunting, and detection engineering for our SOC. You will build a clearest picture of who targets industries and turn it into detections, hunts, and guidance that protects 12,000+ customers.

You’ll lead a remote team of analysts, writers, and detection engineers, partnering with SOC, IR, and Security Engineering to improve detection and response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in cybersecurity across threat intelligence, hunting, IR, detection engineering, or SOC operations.
• 3+ years managing technical security teams, including hiring and development.
• Deep knowledge of adversary tactics and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Track record producing finished intelligence for technical and executive audiences.
• Hands-on with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms and their query languages.

Responsibilities

• Own threat intelligence, threat hunting, and detection engineering for the SOC.
• Lead and grow a remote team of analysts, hunters, and detection engineers.
• Define intelligence requirements and run the full intelligence lifecycle.
• Turn intelligence into detections and customer-facing guidance.
• Partner with SOC, IR, and Security Engineering to improve detection and response.
• Provide intelligence context during major incidents and escalations.
• Brief customers and executives; drive metrics like detection coverage and hunt findings.
