Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 in the US to lead threat intelligence analysis, design detection rules across SIEM/EDR, and coordinate incident response with SOC teams. You will evaluate infrastructure maturity, document findings, and support security operations across multiple client environments.

The role requires collaboration with onsite and offshore teams, adherence to security standards, and ongoing tuning of alerts to reduce false positives while maintaining coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required; relocation/travel may be necessary.
• Experience in threat intelligence, security operations, and incident response is essential.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and defense-in-depth concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threat feeds and develop detection logic across SIEM/EDR platforms.
• Triage alerts, enrich artifacts, and support incident response activities.
• Coordinate with SOC, onsite, offshore, and vendor teams for remediation.
• Maintain threat intel platforms and run regular threat briefings.
