Job summary

ThreatLocker is seeking a Threat Analyst to join its Threat Intelligence team in Orlando, FL. You will track emerging cybersecurity threats, analyze APTs, perform malware analysis and infrastructure research, and author technical content.

The role requires clear communication to varied audiences and collaboration with engineering teams. This in-office position emphasizes independent research, timely delivery, and producing high-impact intelligence to inform product direction and threat coverage

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Information Security with malware analysis or reverse engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Windows artifacts, persistence, privilege escalation and defense evasion.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and enterprise threat research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Content development or technical writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate new cybersecurity threats and APT activity.
• Conduct malware analysis, reverse engineering, and infrastructure investigations.
• Author technical blog posts and finished intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering to improve threat coverage.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
