Verizon is seeking a Network Threat Hunter to join our hybrid work environment in Irving, TX. You will proactively identify threats within Verizon's network and provide actionable intelligence to security teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in networks and security, and the ability to develop hunting techniques across data sources.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $101,000 to $194,000 for full-time, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Four more years of experience in designing, testing or operating networks with switching and routing experience (including OSI model, protocols, BGP data and Netflow).

Responsibilities

• Staying up-to-date on global threat activity and trends.
• Lead analysis of network traffic and events to identify threats.
• Develop threat hunting techniques using incident data and intelligence.
• Conduct time-sensitive analyses during cyber investigations.
• Identify threat vectors and vulnerabilities from logs and data.
• Document threat hunting findings and hand-offs.
