Job summary

SKILLED VETS in Milpitas, CA is seeking an experienced Threat Hunter to proactively identify advanced threats across our environment. You will help establish and mature a threat hunting program, create repeatable processes, playbooks, and hunting methodologies.

This role requires hands-on work within a Microsoft security ecosystem, with primary tooling in CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, and Devo. Onsite four days a week, 6-month contract, pay $65/hour, with contract-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Threat Hunter to proactively identify advanced threats across our environment.
• Ability to establish and mature a threat hunting program with repeatable processes and playbooks.
• Translate hunting findings into durable detections that reduce future risk.
• Comfortable operating within a Microsoft security ecosystem with hands-on tooling experience.
