Job summary

Via Logic LLC is hiring for multiple threat hunting openings across junior, mid-level, and senior experience levels to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

These roles are primarily onsite at a government site in Ashburn, VA, with travel expectations as determined for the assignment. As a threat hunter, you will conduct proactive hunts across networks, endpoints, and high-value assets, analyze logs and telemetry, and develop hypotheses using threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of assignment.
• Meet CBP suitability requirements for access to government facilities and systems.
• Be available to work onsite, primarily in Ashburn, VA, with travel expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive hunts across networks, endpoints, systems, and high-value assets.
• Develop and test hunting hypotheses using threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Gather and analyze logs, endpoint telemetry, network activity and other data.
• Coordinate with incident responders and system owners to validate findings.
• Document hunt methods, findings, and recommendations in clear reports.
• Improve detection rules, alerts, and security coverage based on hunts.
