Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. Threat Finance Analyst to support a Federal Government client. The availability of this position is contingent upon contract award.

The role involves liaison between SOF and external financial capability offices, tracking disbursing operations for TSOCs, and applying OSINT methods to detect anomalous financial activities. Strong data analysis and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of financial, accounting, or business experience to include financial support to special operations.
• Most recent 4 years of experience must have been within USSOCOM enterprise.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various USG funding mechanisms, programs, and fiscal policies.
• Skilled at analyzing financial documents, transaction records, and other data to identify patterns, networks, and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledgeable about financing methods and the use of virtual currencies in the global financial system.
• Broad familiarity with analytical tools and databases for data mining and social network analysis.
• Ability to communicate understanding from incomplete or complex information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Act as a crucial liaison between SOF organizations and external financial capability offices to oversee and enhance financial operational effectiveness.
• Support and track disbursing operations for Theater Special Operation Commands (TSOCs).
• Perform deep analysis using OSINT and advanced data analysis tools to identify anomalous or suspicious financial activities and transactions.
• Review, process, and audit financial workbooks and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop actionable recommendations by analyzing complex data sets and applying financial management principles.
• Contribute to SOF operations by ensuring financial readiness and intelligence support.
• Brief senior leaders, law enforcement partners, and operational units on financial threats and opportunities for disruption.
• Liaise with the Department of the Treasury, FinCEN, law enforcement agencies, and international partners to share information.
