Job summary

Amazon's AWS Security Hub team is seeking a Security Engineer to advance threat detection, correlation and response at scale across customer environments. You will design and implement robust detection logic and contribute to automation across the security stack.

The role requires hands-on software development, scripting, and cloud security experience, with a focus on Python, Java, and AWS tools. You will collaborate with security engineers and product teams to raise the bar for security

Qualifications

• 3+ years programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar OO language.
• 2+ years scripting and security code review in a common language.
• 2+ years troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, or automating tasks via CLI.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and cloud concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP).
