Description

ThoughtSpot Architect

7 years of experience as a ThoughtSpot Architect using version 10+

Job Responsibilities:

1. Architect complex solutions based on client requirements.
2. Help developers create and maintain reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence applications like IBM Cognos Analytics.
3. Create BI solutions leveraging data from Cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
4. Write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval from relational databases.
5. Analyze business requirements to develop effective reports and dashboards.
6. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
7. Define best practices for reporting, data visualization, and analytics solutions.
8. Implement data security, role-based access controls, and compliance measures with BI platforms.
9. Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for Cognos environments.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand information needs and provide insights.
11. Provide technical support for report and dashboard issues.
12. Participate in project planning and contribute to design and development.
13. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Cognos issues, offering expert support.
14. Oversee migration and upgrade of Cognos environments.
15. Ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Cognos BI developer or architect.
• Expert-level proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x or later).
• Strong experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Analysis Studio.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies like Snowflake and Oracle.
• Experience with Power BI and ThoughtSpot SaaS.
• Experience with REACT is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• IBM Cognos certifications.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range is $70.00 - $90.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, PTO, and more. Eligibility depends on employment status and location.
