Job summary

The Hill seeks a Manager, Event Programming (Temporary) to craft and produce thought leadership discussions for its growing events portfolio. You will report to the Managing Director of Event Programming and collaborate with a dynamic team across events, sales and marketing to execute nationwide programs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in booking guests and segment production for television or events, with a strong DC policy/advocacy understanding and a hybrid work approach based on event

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in booking guests for events
• Experience producing segments for television, events, or similar formats
• Strong understanding of Washington, DC political/advocacy landscape

Responsibilities

• Create content plans for policy briefings, roundtables and Summits, providing speaker suggestions and summaries
• Book guests and recruit participants for events across topics in policy and advocacy
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to meet deadlines and share updates
• Conduct preparation calls and draft briefing materials for moderators and speakers
• Manage coordination with speaker contacts to ensure alignment with event objectives and timing
• Produce on-site program components and promotional elements for speakers
• Write copy for invitations, microsites, topic summaries, and edit others’ content
• Edit video and produce social assets when needed
