Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join a well-established team at Medical Center of the Rockies in the Fort Collins area. The candidate should have at least two years of experience and a strong commitment to exceptional patient care.

The role is full-time within a collaborative, physician-led system. Join a team including one thoracic surgeon, five cardiac surgeons, and thirteen APPs, with multidisciplinary tumor boards and state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified Thoracic Surgeon
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Interest in full-time practice
• Strong patient-care focus

Responsibilities

• Join a collegial team of surgeons and APPs
• Collaborate with oncology, interventional pulmonology, and general surgery teams with tumor boards
• Practice at Medical Center of the Rockies (Level I Trauma Center) with multiple ORs and DaVinci robotics
• Participate in Thoracic Steering Committee to grow the program
• Use EPIC EMR system across UCHealth facilities
