Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join the Center for Thoracic Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in downtown Dallas, Texas. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Medicine degree required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Board certification or active pursuit of board certification in the appropriate specialty as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Perform thoracic surgeries including minimally invasive and open lung resections.
• Manage benign and malignant esophageal disease.
• Provide endoscopic and open airway interventions and chest wall reconstruction.
• Assist in diaphragmatic and pleural disease management and participate in teaching at fellow, resident, and medical student levels.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas

Board certification or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties
