This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 and $222,000. The position may be eligible for a role-specific variable or performance-based bonus and/or other compensation elements.

The Oncology Sales Consultant (OSC) is responsible for implementing the BIPI Oncology sales and marketing plans to ensure maximum distribution and market penetration of BIPI Oncology products within BIPI guidelines, policies, and directives. The OSC will engage with key Oncology Customers, including targeted Oncologists and related healthcare specialists. Responsibilities include sales activities, strategic account planning, and execution in various healthcare settings, with occasional overnight travel and attendance at evening and weekend meetings.

Duties & Responsibilities
CLINICAL EXPERTISE

The OSC demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of BIPI Oncology products, marketplace dynamics, and effectively translates this knowledge into sales presentations providing customer-focused solutions. They are trusted partners who support brand strategies, patient identification, and sales growth, with an understanding of the oncology payer landscape and collaboration with internal teams.

STRATEGIC ACCOUNT PLANNING AND VALUE-BASED SELLING

The OSC develops and executes strategic account plans to support Oncology Healthcare Professionals and account needs. They build relationships, identify key stakeholders, and facilitate value-based discussions to support patient management and therapy decisions.

BUSINESS ACUMEN AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

The OSC identifies business needs within their territory, develops strategic plans, and collaborates with internal teams to optimize opportunities. They manage territory budgets and support regional thought leaders and external experts.

EXECUTION AND ADMINISTRATION

The OSC analyzes territory data, monitors market conditions, and utilizes company resources to achieve goals. They complete administrative tasks accurately and demonstrate leadership through timely training completion.

STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

The OSC maintains detailed knowledge of accounts and marketplace influences, translating this into effective account profiling and customer solutions.

UNDERSTANDING PATIENT JOURNEY

The OSC demonstrates deep market knowledge, understanding referral processes, patient identification, and key stakeholders involved in Oncology treatments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • For OSC II: 5+ years of successful US pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, including 1 year in Oncology or 3 years working with organized care networks.
  • For Senior OSC: 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 3 years in Oncology sales.
  • Experience in account management, reimbursement navigation, and engaging with complex customer types is preferred.
  • Strong virtual engagement skills and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to travel at least 25%, including overnights and some weekends.
  • Self-directed with ability to develop and maintain relationships with Oncology providers.
  • Current knowledge of Oncology science, marketplace, and clinical pathways is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
